Rotary is a global network of 1.2 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who come together to make positive, lasting change in communities at home and abroad. The Cannon Falls Rotary Club was chartered in 1954 and has approximately 22 members and join more 30,000 Rotary clubs in more than 160 countries worldwide. As a community service organization, the Cannon Falls Rotary Club provides scholarship, leadership and cultural exchange opportunities to youth. We have contributed to numerous community projects and provide ongoing support to Packing for the Weekend.

Our local Rotary Club is having a Holiday Kick Off Party Gala On Saturday, December 1st at the Cannon Falls Golf Course. The Social will start at 5:30 PM with Dinner being served an hour later at 6:30. A live auction will start after Dinner followed with music by the band Relativity. In addition, there will be a heads and tails game as well as a wine and spirit pull.
The silent auction items will get you ready for the holidays and include table top Christmas all decked out by local business of Althoff's Hardware, Cannon Valley Specialities, Coldwell Banker, and Real Deals.
The live auction features four rounds of golf at Private Country Club in Eden Prairie, a Costa Rica vacation at a Bed and Breakfast with a $200 travel voucher from Four Seasons, a one week lake cabin outing donated by Star Tech Computing, a fun round of golf for four with Rotary Caddies and four golf carts donated by the Cannon Golf Club, two champion club 2019 Twin ticket donated by Edward Jones and Jeremy Mouw, four Wild Hocky tickets donated by First Farmers and Merchants Bank and a $175 gift certificate at Herbie's On the Park donated by Jim Burkhardt, a quilted table runner donated by Ed and Mary Lorentz, a meat box donated by Lorentz Meats, Ferndale gift certificates of $20 every two weeks for a year donated by Ferndale Market, and an afternoon pontoon ride on Lake Pepin with beverages and appetizers donated by Banks Outdoors/Marlene and Bob Banks.
All proceeds made this evening will go for various Rotary causes such as Polio Eradication, High School Scholarships, and various local charities including Packing for the Weekend.
