“To nourish a mind, we must first nourish the body.” are the driving words behind the Packing for the Weekend program of the United Way of Goodhue, Wabasha, and Pierce Counties. It’s a program kick started by the Rotary Club in 2012 in Cannon Falls and supported by student and community volunteers ever since. It’s also the focus for the special appeal at the Rotary Holiday Kick Off Party on December 1. $100 will feed 10 families for the weekend. Please help our neighbors in need.
Packing Volunteers one of the weeks in November: Bob Shepard, Rotary with Brooke Beissel, Sophie Epps, and Mari Mendivil from the Cannon Falls Interact Club
