Major Stephan Wall and Major Robert Cole gave a very interesting presentation about the Civil Air Patrol http://www.redwing.mncap.org/ the morning of Dec. 12. The Civil Air Patrol not only trains young cadets but also conducts missions such as air search for missing planes and transporting single troops from base to base. They have been involved in training for security over the Twin Cities during the Super Bowl festivities.

The Civil Air Patrol (CAP) is a unique organization both in its capabilities and its organizational structure. The CAP is a federally supported, non-profit corporation that also serves as an auxiliary of the United States Air Force when performing missions for the federal government. CAP can conduct missions either as an auxiliary of the Air Force or in its corporate status.
Eden Walson, Cannon Falls Rotary exchange student from France, presented her sponsoring club's banner to President Bob Shepard. Bob commented that this is one of the prettiest banners that our club has received.
